The dry goods are here! Do you know about Sichuan generators?
Classification:
Electricity has five stages: generation, transmission, transformation, and distribution. Among them, power generation refers to the use of power generation equipment to convert the thermal energy of hydropower, fossil fuels (coal, oil, natural gas, etc.), nuclear energy, as well as solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, ocean energy, etc. into electrical energy. Electricity generation requires the use of Sichuan generators. Common types include water turbines, steam turbines, diesel engines, or other power machinery driven generators that convert the energy generated by water flow, air flow, fuel combustion, or nuclear fission into mechanical energy and transmit it to the generator, which then converts it into electrical energy.
Main mechanism of generator
A generator is usually composed of components such as stator, rotor, end cover, and bearings.
The stator is composed of the stator core, wire winding, machine base, and other structural components that fix these parts.
The rotor is composed of components such as the rotor core winding, guard ring, slip ring, fan, and shaft.
The stator and rotor of the generator are connected and assembled by bearings and end caps, so that the rotor can rotate in the stator and perform the motion of cutting magnetic field lines, thereby generating induced potential. It is led out through wiring terminals and connected to the circuit, generating current.
Working principle of generator
The generator is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, which states that when a piece of metal, such as a copper wire, moves in a magnetic field, an electric field is generated inside the metal.
The charge inside the metal will flow along the electric field. If this metal is not a ring, charges will accumulate at both ends and exist in the form of voltage. Connecting this metal to a circuit (the rest of the circuit is not in the magnetic field except for the metal) will generate current, and the generator will produce electricity.
So, the basic principle of a generator is to fix the permanent magnet or metal, allowing the metal or permanent magnet to move continuously. The motion is relative, so that the metal that is constantly moving in the magnetic field will continuously generate electricity.
From this point, different generators can be distinguished. Hydroelectric generators use the energy of water falling from a high place to maintain the movement of metals, while thermal power uses the power of steam generated by burning boiling water to maintain the movement of metals.
Generator classification
There are many types of generator sets, which are classified according to different standards, such as:
1. Divided by power source
There are diesel generators, gas generators, gasoline generators, wind turbines, solar generators, hydroelectric generators, coal-fired generators, etc.
2. Electric energy method
According to the method of converting electrical energy, it can be divided into two categories: AC generators and DC generators.
AC generators are divided into two types: synchronous generators and asynchronous generators. Synchronous generators are divided into two types: conventional synchronous generators and convex synchronous generators. Synchronous generators are commonly used in modern power plants, and asynchronous generators are rarely used.
Among them, diesel generator sets are commonly used.
